About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will ensure patient safety, produce high-quality imaging, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Active California State Nuclear Medicine License (required at submission).
- Certification in one of the following: NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board), or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine)
- Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and radiation safety standards.
Nice To Haves
- Previous travel assignment experience preferred.
- First-time travelers may be considered with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Epic EMR system.
Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Prepare, administer, and monitor radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.
- Conduct PET imaging procedures as assigned.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and education throughout procedures.
- Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation in the EMR system.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and quality assurance guidelines.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams.
