About The Position
Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting multiple Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System located at 6900 N Pecos Rd, North Las Vegas, NV 89086. Various shifts schedules are available. Requirements
- High School Diploma
- NMTCB (CNMT) or ARRT (N) certification.
- Maintain active AHA BLS certification
- No sponsorship available
- Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
- Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of one (1) year of proven clinical experience in a Level 1 hospital setting is preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals.
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapeutic procedures.
- Analyze studies and notify physicians of significant findings.
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment.
- Conduct radiation safety surveys, wipe tests, and dosimetry activities.
- Process images and documentation using PACS, VISTA, and CPRS.
- Perform scheduling, patient registration, and administrative duties.
- Train students and clinical staff.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement programs.
