About The Position

Performs Nuclear Medicine examinations for diagnostic and therapeutic (site specific) purposes under the direction of a physician. Prepares patient, prepares and administers prescribed dose of radioactive pharmaceuticals and non-radioactive pharmaceuticals, performs calculations and manipulates data according to established parameters. Ensures proper preparation and/or ordering of radioactive material, calibrates equipment, assures appropriate quality control, monitors patients and performs other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
  • Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist upon hire or, Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist Temporary upon hire or, National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire or, National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology within 6 months of hire or, National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board within 6 months of hire.

  • 2 years - Clinical experience as Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
