About The Position

Responsible for providing nuclear medicine imaging services. This role involves performing diagnostic nuclear medicine examinations, preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, maintaining equipment, and ensuring proper handling and disposal of radioactive materials. The position also includes verifying patient information. As a Lead, this role coordinates duty assignments for nuclear medicine technologists, performs and maintains Nuclear Medicine Quality Control activities, and serves as a Radiation Safety Officer.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Nuclear Medicine
  • IEMA
  • ARRT or CNMT
  • BLS
  • 1 year of technical experience
  • 5 years of lead experience

Responsibilities

  • Performs diagnostic nuclear medicine examinations.
  • Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Maintains equipment.
  • Ensures radioactive material is properly received, stored, inventoried and disposal.
