About The Position

Performs general nuclear medicine examinations, including on call services, therapeutic procedures and PET/CT patient exams in a hospital based, acute care environment. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will assist the Radiologists and other medical staff during exams and procedures. Completes documentation for all information required for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving and retrieval of exams. Completes appropriate documentation for the administration, receipt/return, decay and disposal of radioactive materials in compliance for state and/or federal regulations.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited program or equivalent.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in nuclear medicine or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB)
