About The Position

Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals (radioactive materials) to detect and treat disease under the supervision of a physician. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist provides patient care and technical skills in the operation of nuclear medicine equipment for diagnostic and evaluation purposes. Requirements

  • 2 years of experience required
  • BLS is required
  • ARRT and NJ License required
  • Must have combination on NMT and CT cert (NMTCB and CT; NMTCB and ARRT (CT); ARRT(N) and ARRT (R) or (CT); NMTCB and ARRT (R))
  • Exp in Adult OP clinics and nuclear cardiology
  • Exp in GE, gastric emptying, bone scans, liver imaging, perfusion, ventilation, captopril, myocardial scans, and SPECT (Bone, Thyroid, and Cardiac imaging)
  • EPIC Charting

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals (radioactive materials) to detect and treat disease under the supervision of a physician.
  • Provide patient care and technical skills in the operation of nuclear medicine equipment for diagnostic and evaluation purposes.
  • Perform diagnostic and evaluation procedures using nuclear medicine equipment.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals for detection and treatment of disease.
  • Operate nuclear medicine equipment.
