About The Position

UW Health in northern Illinois is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital. This is a 100% FTE position with Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts, featuring variable start times between 6-7:00 am, and rotating Saturdays from 7 am to noon. The role may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000. Additional compensation components include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay.

Requirements

  • Completed an accredited nuclear medicine technology program, a recognized military nuclear medicine technology training program, or possess two years of related clinical experience in a military setting.
  • Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
  • Certification by ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or current NMTCB certification.
  • Current license from IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency).
  • Basic Life Support/CPR Certification required within three (3) months of hire.
  • Previous healthcare experience.
