Nuclear Medicine Technologist
About The Position

This specific opportunity is for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist located in Reno, NV. The role offers per diem, day shifts, with an assignment length of 12 weeks. The technologist will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, focusing on providing high-quality imaging services. Key responsibilities include supporting the Radiologist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, as well as processing and transmitting images to PACS.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
- At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist required.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate required.
- Minimum requirement-Registry eligible and within 90 days of hire date accredited, or actively accredited by the NMTCB and/or ARRT (N) required.
- Must complete an accredited school of study in Nuclear Medicine
- State license required
Responsibilities
- Works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality imaging.
- Works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.
