About The Position
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist position at MultiCare is responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures and maintaining departmental standards. This role ensures the most comprehensive and compassionate imaging care for patients. The position is part-time, with a Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) of 0.4, working Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Requirements
- CMNT (NMTCB), ARRT (N) or equivalent or/ registry eligible and exam taken within one year of employment
- Health Care Provider level CPR certification
- Certified with the State of Washington Department of Health
Nice To Haves
- BA or BS degree in science of health care field preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform on-call tasks, when necessary
- Perform a wide range of Nuclear Medicine procedures
- Administer diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with department policies and procedures
- Perform venipuncture and IV placement
- Work independently and unsupervised
- Perform quality control procedures, as required for all equipment
- Become familiar with the film filing system
