About The Position

Provides clinical services according to radiology practice standards to ensure optimal department functions. This role involves the collection, processing, maintenance, and shipping of radioactive and non-radioactive research biological specimens. The technologist will maintain inventory of research hot lab equipment and shared supplies, ensuring compliance with DEQ Nuclear Standards, including hot lab standards. In coordination with the Theranostics coordinator, this position will complete research phantoms and other testing for PET/CT systems related to research clinical trials. The role also works in conjunction with the Theranostics coordinator and Clinical Research Coordinators to support research PET/CT studies and provides Theranostics support for research patients.

Requirements

  • ARRT (N) or NMTCB
  • LSRTBE Nuclear
  • BLS
  • Competence in venipuncture and nuclear medicine therapies
  • Established interpersonal skills combined with the ability to be highly motivated and work independently
  • Well organized and able to maintain accurate and complete research and clinical records
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to be a team player
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • ARRT (R) or (CT) preferred
  • LSRTBE Radiology or LSRTBE Fusion preferred
