About The Position

Corewell Health Grosse Pointe Hospital is a 280-bed acute care campus located in the heart of Grosse Pointe. Opened in 1945 by the Sisters of Bon Secours, it was acquired by Beaumont Health System in October 2007. Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital offers medical, surgical, emergency, obstetric and critical care services. Requirements

• Associate’s degree
• Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program
• CRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Required 6 months from date of hire
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required

Responsibilities

• Performs both imaging and non-imaging procedures on patients and/or patient samples using radioactive tracers.
• Responsible for the safe and correct handling of radioactive materials.
• Responsible for the care and operation of radiation detection equipment.
• Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine procedures.
• Appropriate computer analysis to generate a patient result.
• Patient care.
• Uses specific age and culture-related physical, intellectual psychosocial and developmental attributes in assessment planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
