About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a short-term acute care facility. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures on adult and geriatric patients while ensuring high standards of safety, accuracy, and patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
- Active state license required at time of submission
- BLS
- CNMT or NMTCB certification
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in hospital-based nuclear medicine preferred
- Ability to float within scope as needed
Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging equipment safely
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and best practices
- Monitor patient condition during procedures and provide appropriate care
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff for accurate diagnostics
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records
