The Department of Radiology is seeking a licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This position requires the technologist to perform nuclear medicine exams more specific to PET/CT, to be creative and responsible for providing excellence in clinical care as well as providing quality radiographs for the provider to make a diagnosis. The technologist must work efficiently and professionally, as he/she is a representative of the Radiology department to provide services for other departments and referring physicians. The incumbent will need to work independently the majority of the time, with limited to no supervision. The technologist will be responsible for the operation of the Hot Lab and maintain all regulatory records, transferring and positioning patients, applying radioisotopes, assist physician in the administration of medications, and process images.
