About The Position

Performs routine diagnostic Nuclear Medicine exams for evaluation and treatment by physicians. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to complete required procedures. May have access to areas where medications are stored and/or prepared for purposes of fulfilling job duties. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Must meet the educational requirement for Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification with NMTCB or ARRT (NM) Preferred: Associate’s Degree or higher

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must meet the educational requirement for Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification with NMTCB or ARRT (NM)
  • Must be registered in Nuclear Medicine by the ARRT or NMTCB with documented Continuing Education to maintain registration/certification or meet requirements to be certified by NMTCB
  • Must possess advanced Nuclear Medicine Registry/Certification
  • CPR certified or obtained within 30 days of hire
  • Completed an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
  • One or more years of experience in the field of Radiology

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s Degree or higher
  • Prior Nuclear Medicine experience
