About The Position

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Nuclear Medicine Technologists (NMT) for Positron Emission Tomography (PET) - PET/CT Technologist to join our dynamic team at the Veterans Affairs Long Beach Healthcare System (VALBHS).

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of current work experience in Nuclear Medicine and PT/CT.
  • Hold a current and valid ARRT (N) certification and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification.
  • Have demonstrated experience starting Intravenous (IV), radiopharmaceutical injections, and contrast injections.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Picture Achieving & Communication Systems (PACS) work experience
  • Have basic computer skills. Must be knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Software(e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).

Nice To Haves

  • IV certification is preferred but not required.
  • AGFA PACS experience is preferred but not required. Training provided as needed.
