Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Department of Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Florida license requirements not applicable to associates working in Georgia.
  • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Execute therapeutic and diagnostic imaging procedures to capture high-quality, precise images essential for accurate radiologist and physician interpretation.
  • Manage and operate specialized imaging equipment and perform accurate patient positioning to ensure the highest image quality while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
  • Handle radiopharmaceuticals by accurately ordering, preparing, and administering them in strict adherence to all established radiation safety and disposal protocols.
  • Maintain the integrity of patient records by promptly ensuring all high-quality images and related data are accurately submitted to PACS.
  • Combines compassionate care with up to date technical knowledge to provide patients with a sense of trust and reassurance.
