About The Position

Execute therapeutic and diagnostic imaging procedures to capture high-quality, precise images essential for accurate radiologist and physician interpretation. Manage and operate specialized imaging equipment and perform accurate patient positioning to ensure the highest image quality while prioritizing patient comfort and safety. Handle radiopharmaceuticals by accurately ordering, preparing, and administering them in strict adherence to all established radiation safety and disposal protocols. Maintain the integrity of patient records by promptly ensuring all high-quality images and related data are accurately submitted to PACS. Combines compassionate care with up to date technical knowledge to provide patients with a sense of trust and reassurance.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Department of Health obtained prior to hiredate or job transfer date required. Florida license requirements not applicable to associates working in Georgia.
  • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
