Under the direction of a qualified physician and the supervision of the Lead Technologist and the Supervisor of Nuclear Medicine/SWMP Manager performs all nuclear medicine procedures, demonstrates anatomy under investigation through proper patient positioning, techniques selection, administration of radiopharmaceuticals, and application of immobilization and radiation protection devices in accordance to policy and procedure. Requirements

  • Graduate of AMA approved School of Nuclear Medicine.
  • Upon hire: Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist License or Upon hire: New Mexico Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Program - New Mexico Environment Department.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • Upon hire: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Clinical experience from approved school of Nuclear Medicine.
