About The Position

This role is for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a Radiology/Cardiology department. The clinician will be expected to perform PET scans, with prior experience preferred but on-site training available. The initial orientation shifts will be from 0800 to 1630 for approximately two weeks. The standard schedule is 5x8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays required. There is an optional opportunity to take call, but it is not mandatory. Call shifts cover Monday-Friday from 0430-2200 and Saturday-Sunday from 0600-2200, with a 60-minute response time required. Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered. The local radius is 50 miles.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience required
  • BLS certification
  • NMTCB certification
  • CA State license
  • Can accept ARRT or NMTCB certification

Nice To Haves

  • Prior PET scan experience preferred
