About The Position

Deliver exceptional diagnostic imaging by operating advanced cameras that detect and map radioactive drugs, providing radiologists and physicians with the high-quality visual data they need for accurate patient diagnoses. Manage radiopharmaceuticals safely by ordering, preparing, administering, and disposing of materials in strict accordance with clinical protocols to protect both patient health and team safety. Prioritize patient comfort and technical accuracy by carefully positioning individuals and selecting exact anatomical factors to capture clear images on the first take. Champion radiation safety by rigorously following established safety guidelines and protective procedures for every patient encounter and imaging run. Maintain data and equipment integrity by promptly submitting complete records to PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and ensuring all department imaging equipment is functioning flawlessly.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry ofRadiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • GeneralRadiography is also required in addition to any specialty.
  • State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Maryland Board of Physicians required.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
