About The Position

Corewell Health is offering up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus to external hires and internal new grads currently in a student role. This is a FULL TIME-DAYS position at Corewell Health Hospital Trenton, a 193-bed acute care teaching hospital. The hospital opened in 1961 and became part of Corewell Health in September 2014. It offers comprehensive medical and surgical care, all private beds, a medical and surgical intensive care unit, and obstetrical care.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree
• Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program
• CRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board. Required 6 months from date of hire.
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required

Responsibilities

• Performs both imaging and non-imaging procedures on patients and/or patient samples using radioactive tracers.
• Responsible for the safe and correct handling of radioactive materials.
• Responsible for the care and operation of radiation detection equipment.
• Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine procedures.
• Performs appropriate computer analysis to generate a patient result.
• Provides patient care.
• Uses specific age and culture-related physical, intellectual psychosocial and developmental attributes in assessment planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
• Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.
