About The Position
The Nuclear Medicine Tech performs basic nuclear medicine studies, with most of the caseload coming from stress tests. The daily caseload is approximately 5–12 procedures. The role offers schedules of 4x10-hour, 5x8-hour, or 3x12-hour shifts; the listed shift is 4x10-hour days with variable starts at 0600 and 0730. Weekend call is required. The facility may call off one shift every two weeks.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience; first-time travelers are accepted.
- BLS certification.
- California State License.
- ARRT certification.
- NMTCB certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic nuclear medicine studies, primarily stress tests.
- Participate in weekend call.
