About The Position
The PET/CT Technologist will be responsible for performing PET/CT scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires knowledge of specialized equipment and medical terminology, as well as proficiency in computer skills for data management and PACS integration.
Requirements
- Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, ARRT, or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
- One year of acute, clinical radiology experience
- At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
- Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required
- Graduate of a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRT
- Current BCLS required
- Proficient computer skills
- Needs CT/Fusion Certification
Responsibilities
- Perform PET/CT scans.
