This facility features state-of-the-art digital PET/CT scanners and offers flexible scheduling with three 12-hour shifts per week. The role of a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Community Health System (CHS) involves practicing at a fully independent level, supporting a high-acuity imaging environment through technical expertise, sound judgment, and collaboration with Nuclear Medicine Physicians. This position is part of a multidisciplinary team focused on diagnostic accuracy, patient safety, and continuous quality improvement. The technologist will independently perform nuclear medicine procedures, including preparing, compounding, administering, and quality-testing radiopharmaceuticals in compliance with regulatory standards. Ensuring high-quality imaging through accurate patient identification, appropriate exam selection, proper positioning, and protocol completion is crucial, as is maintaining a safe and compliant environment through adherence to aseptic technique, medication-administration standards, radiation safety practices, equipment maintenance requirements, and precise documentation.
