Nuclear Medicine Assistant
About The Position
Under the direct supervision of a nuclear medicine technologist, senior nuclear medicine technologist, nuclear pharmacist or physician, a Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs basic departmental tasks relating to patient care, quality control checks on instruments, radiopharmaceuticals, and some imaging procedures. A Nuclear Medicine Technologist Assistant uses specific age and culture-related physical intellectual, psychological and developmental attributes in assessment of planning, education of patients, implementation and evaluation of patient care. Delivers excellent customer service. Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of relevant experience
- patient care experience
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross required
Responsibilities
- Performs basic departmental tasks relating to patient care.
