About The Position

This position is responsible for independently, or under the direct supervision of a physician, performing radiology procedures consistent with the established standard of medical care in radiology, following policies and protocols using established anatomical positioning and physiology to produce optimum images, while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality and comfort a top priority. The role also includes performing cardiac stress testing, including Maximum Exercise Stress Tests as well as Exercise and Pharmacological Nuclear Medicine Stress Tests, and administering radiopharmaceuticals to obtain cardiac imaging for diagnostic testing.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of accredited Nuclear Medicine program
  • R.T. (R) (N) (ARRT) OR NMCTB Nuc Med, Nuclear Imaging, NMTCB

Responsibilities

  • Independently, or under the direct supervision of a physician, performs radiology procedures consistent with the established standard of medical care in radiology, following policies and protocols using established anatomical positioning and physiology to produce optimum images, while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality and comfort a top priority.
  • Performs cardiac stress testing, including Maximum Exercise Stress Tests as well as Exercise and Pharmacological Nuclear Medicine Stress Tests.
  • Administers radiopharmaceuticals to obtain cardiac imaging for diagnostic testing.
