About The Position
Christian Hospital has been serving St. Louis and the surrounding metro areas since 1903. Northwest HealthCare, six miles west of Christian, offers 24- hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services. Nuclear Medicine offers Bone Density studies only. Nuclear Medicine is equipped with Hologic Bone Densitometer. Nuclear Medicine offers same day service. Mammography and Bone Density can be scheduled on the same day with no wait time between procedures.
Requirements
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)
- Certification through NMTCB or ARRT required ARRT (accrediting body) which is ARRT(N) or NMTCB (accrediting body) which is CNMT.
- No Experience

- Cert Nuclear Medicine Techn
- IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI
- R.T.(N)/CNMT

Responsibilities
- Performs nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging, therapeutic procedures, and quality control.
- Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
- Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required by work area.
