About The Position
Under the supervision of a physician, conducts diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radioactive materials on pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development and possesses the ability to assess, interact, communicate, and care for specific patient populations.
Requirements
- Completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology training program.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification. If eligible for exam, must pass within one year from date of hire.
- A minimum of one (1) year of current nuclear medicine experience.
- BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
- FL RT: Florida Radiologic Tech
Nice To Haves
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Computed Tomography (CT) registry.
- Previous nuclear cardiology experience.
