About The Position

Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology proceduresaccording to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A. programs.Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federalguidelines. Demonstrates ability to perform advance imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and iscompetent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Provides more complextechnical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.

Requirements

• MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by either the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Must have two years of experience as a Nuclear Med Tech.
• MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Either CNMT or NMTCB registered.
• BLS Certified
• Possesses a thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals as needed to perform and process Nuclear Medicine examinations.
