About The Position

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers is hiring an experienced PET Technologist to provide PET scan services at multiple on-site locations, which may include Boulder, Thornton, or Denver. Mileage reimbursement is available in accordance with company policy. The role includes performing PET scan procedures and supporting scheduling, front-office workflow, patient records, report distribution, and collection of clinical follow-up data.

Requirements

Associate's or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology from an AMA-accredited program.
Three to five years of experience in nuclear medicine and/or previous PET experience.
CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) and/or ARRT (N) certification, with state licensure where applicable.
Pass a background check and non-federal drug test (excluding marijuana) after the offer and before hire.
Show proof of influenza vaccination upon commencing employment; reasonable accommodations for exemptions may be considered in accordance with applicable law.

Nice To Haves

PET Technologist certification through ARRT (R), (N), or (CT), or NMTCB (CT).

Responsibilities

Perform PET scan procedures, including radiopharmaceutical injection, protocol setup, image reconstruction and development, coordination of images with reports, and image archiving.
Assist with scheduling procedures and related front-office functions to ensure smooth workflow.
Ensure the accuracy of patient demographic information, report distribution, and patient files.
Collect clinical data for patient follow-up and for developing teaching and educational information.
