About The Position

Nuclear Manufacturing is responsible for the manufacturing of time sensitive radiopharmaceuticals in an integrity driven, highly regulated environment (i.e. FDA, NRC, DOT) to support patient treatment through disease diagnosis, staging, and monitoring. This role works with radioactive isotopes/material to manufacture radiopharmaceutical drug products. It requires strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and all regulatory requirements. The position involves materials management, operating a company delivery vehicle, and performing routine cleaning, maintenance, and manufacturing setup.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • 1-2 years of manufacturing or pharmaceutical experience preferred
  • Physical dexterity for reaching, lifting, and handling small components
  • Ability to label, dispense, finish, and package drug product with strong hand‑eye coordination
  • Radioactive material handling experience a plus
  • Ability to follow detailed processing instructions, communicate clearly and concisely with team members in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to manage up to 75 pounds
  • Strong multitasking, focus, and sound judgment
  • Strong customer service and teamwork skills
  • Powered Industrial Truck (forklift) experience is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must be willing to work holidays, alternate shifts and schedules, and overtime as needed
  • Apply basic skills and techniques to complete routine tasks within assigned area
  • Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
  • Works on basic and routine assignments
  • Works within clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures and/or scientific methods

Responsibilities

  • Works with radioactive isotopes / material to manufacture radiopharmaceutical drug products
  • Successfully complete required training, including e‑learning and hands‑on components, and maintain ongoing proficiency and compliance
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) precisely to characterize materials, monitor operational processes, and ensure product quality
  • Adhere to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and all regulatory requirements including but not limited to Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and perform entries contemporaneously, and maintain logbooks
  • Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, manufacturing setup, batch execution, and distribution of quality compliant radiopharmaceutical drug products
  • Apply FDA regulations relevant to assigned job functions
  • Performs routine and specialized radioactive contamination wipes and radiation surveys in accordance with regulatory requirements, internal safety procedures, and facility ALARA practices to ensure a safe working environment
  • Materials management in warehouse setting with use of powered industrial truck (forklift)
  • Operates company delivery vehicle to retrieve radioactive material and deliver finished drug product, demonstrating strong situational awareness and adherence to all DOT and regulatory requirements.
