About The Position

Lead business development, program execution, and capability development activities in support of ICBM system development and sustainment, including science and engineering, operational impact, and program management. Apply technical subject matter expertise to clients across the life cycle of ICBM system, and provide expertise and market knowledge to guide the development and growth of Booz Allen’s nuclear business. Characterize the state of ICBM systems, including identifying state-of-the-art technologies and promising new technological approaches. Identify technical, programmatic, and operational challenges across ICBM systems and identify solutions to mitigate these challenges. Perform technical and programmatic analyses and assessments to recommend technology for ICBM system insertion. Develop technical proposals and support negotiations of selected projects, including advising on project plans and milestones for complex projects. Perform direct, periodic oversight of portfolio projects' programmatic aspects, from set up to close out, aiding the customer in managing projects towards clear and compelling outcomes.

Requirements

10+ years of experience authoring technical papers, reports, or program plans for technical and non-technical audiences on research of nuclear engineering, nuclear weapon systems, or counter-chemical and biological efforts
Experience with nuclear certification and surety, vulnerability assessments, nuclear weapon effects analysis and testing, or nuclear intelligence functions
Experience with ground systems, and command and control systems
Experience with government agencies across the DoD and DoE nuclear enterprise
Experience with all aspects of program management, including cost, schedule, and performance
Ability to provide technical support, advice, and assistance conducting, directing, or assisting with R&D in the engineering, design, development, and implementation of nuclear programs or projects
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
