About The Position

We are seeking a Project Manager II to support capital facilities and construction projects at one of its nuclear generating facilities. This role delivers upgrades, equipment replacements, building/facility modifications, long term plan development, and other capital improvements. Projects typically range from $100K to multimillion dollar investment levels and require strict adherence to nuclear, regulatory, and safety protocols. This position manages 5–10 concurrent projects, coordinating internal stakeholders, engineering, maintenance, construction, contractors, and vendors while ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management requirements.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of facilities, construction, utility, power plant, or commercial nuclear power project management experience.
  • Demonstrated success managing projects ≥ $1M.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with project controls and variance analysis.
  • Familiarity with PMI/PMBOK (Waterfall/Predictive) methodologies.
  • Ability to obtain unescorted nuclear access, which includes a Federal background investigation, Fitness for Duty testing (drug & alcohol), and compliance with NRC Access Authorization requirements.
  • U.S. citizenship (required).
