As a Nuclear Enterprise SME, you’ll leverage your expertise in mathematical modeling, systems analysis, and policy development to create data-driven solutions for strategic decision-making in the nuclear enterprise space. Your work will include developing optimized approaches for program evaluation, strategy formulation, cost analyses, operational frameworks, and treaty compliance imperatives. You’ll conduct detailed data collection, assessment, and modeling to identify vulnerabilities, assess risk, and recommend strategies to deliver innovative, mission-critical change. Through collaboration with DoD leaders, military personnel, and cross-functional teams, you’ll facilitate informed decision-making to support nuclear deterrence policy, strategic readiness initiatives, and logistics optimization. Requirements

  • Experience formulating and applying modeling techniques such as mathematical modeling, operations research, or optimization methods to support nuclear enterprise policy development and defense decision-making
  • Knowledge of U.S. nuclear deterrence frameworks, systems, strategic policy, and operational readiness priorities within the Department of Defense
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to create decision support frameworks, time-cost analyses, and logistical models aligned with complex defense missions
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Experience coordinating with senior government and military leaders to provide operational insights, readiness evaluations, and improvement recommendations for nuclear deterrence programs
  • Knowledge of JCIDS, MDMP, or other defense planning and evaluation methodologies
  • Ability to translate complex technical and analytical data into clear policy and operational recommendations for decision-making purposes
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, National Security Studies, or a related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant Analytical and Database Management Certifications
