About The Position

Threats to the nation and our military are regularly evolving and becoming more complex. This role offers an opportunity to apply proficiency as an all-source analyst to weaken these developing threats and contribute to the security of our country's dynamic military resources. The position involves collecting, organizing, and presenting data concisely to clients, enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of senior government and military decision-makers and planners, and supporting real-world missions in a dynamic, client environment. As a Nuclear Engineering All-Source Intelligence Analyst, you will support defense analytical requirements with enhanced scientific or engineering research, reverse engineering analysis, characterizations, and facility and vulnerability assessments on nuclear capabilities, including nuclear engineering and sub-disciplines of thermo-hydraulics, seismic or earthquake, physics, computational science, and fission reactor engineer.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of nuclear weapons programs, including nuclear weapons effects, nuclear fuel cycle, and nuclear infrastructure.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience with intelligence, or 7+ years of experience with intelligence in lieu of a degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience countering missiles and delivery systems, advanced weapons, and CBRNE.
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting all-source analytic production on nuclear programs, including production facilities, stockpiles, logistics, systems employment, security, and vulnerabilities of facilities and stockpiles.
  • Performing all-source analysis production, including analytic tradecraft, ICD 203 and 206, and DIA writing style.
  • Applying and querying SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, and HUMINT data sets and databases.
  • Independently developing high-quality tailored deliverables, including actionable leads, ICD-compliant written products, network charts, and formal or informal briefings.
  • Adjusting to changing mission requirements and delivering products within a short time frame.
  • Collaborating with other mission partners on production and leading briefings at unique events.
