About The Position

KMS Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly qualified Logistician III to provide senior-level logistics, sustainment, and operational support across Naval Special Warfare (NSW), U.S. Navy, and U.S. Special Operations Command programs. This role supports PMS 340 through the development, execution, and oversight of acquisition logistics products, life-cycle sustainment strategies, supply support planning, training systems development, and coordination with engineering, fleet, and industry partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field.
  • More than 7 years of experience in defense acquisition logistics or life-cycle sustainment.
  • Experience with DoD acquisition and logistics policies and directives.
  • Experience supporting U.S. Navy, NSW, and SOCOM small arms, ammunition, and special projects.
  • Experience as an Assistant Technical Warrant Holder or Technical Warrant Holder for U.S. Navy Small Arms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills.
  • High comfort level working with and around all military/organizational levels, clients, customers, suppliers, and visitors.
  • Must be highly reliable and demonstrate personal initiative to operate in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Secret DoD Security Clearance and required access to all worksite locations.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and throughout employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Navy ERP, PSD systems, training system development.
  • DAWIA Life-Cycle Logistics Level III certified or equivalent certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Support planning and execution of acquisition programs, including tracking milestones, risks, and performance metrics.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining acquisition documentation, schedules, life‑cycle plans, and compliance materials.
  • Provide cost, schedule, and performance analysis and support program reviews and decision forums.
  • Assist in development, review, and coordination of technical documentation, system requirements, and test-related materials.
  • Support evaluation of system capabilities, technology upgrades, and mission impacts.
  • Coordinate meetings, reviews, and technical working groups with government and industry partners.
  • Prepare program communication materials such as reports, presentations, and summaries.
