About The Position

The NSI P4 Quality Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring that products and processes meet the highest standards of quality and reliability within the organization. This position is responsible for leading quality assurance initiatives, driving continuous improvement efforts, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues. The engineer will analyze data, develop quality metrics, and implement corrective actions to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction. They will also support compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring that all quality processes align with organizational goals. Ultimately, this role contributes to delivering superior products that meet or exceed customer expectations while optimizing operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering or a similar role within a manufacturing or technology environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and industry standards such as ISO 9001.
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis tools and methodologies, including 8D, FMEA, and SPC.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification as a Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
  • Experience with advanced quality tools such as Minitab or similar statistical software.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements relevant to the industry, such as FDA or aerospace standards.
  • Previous experience working in a high-reliability or safety-critical environment.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure product compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives to address quality issues.
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to integrate quality considerations throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Perform data analysis and generate quality reports to monitor trends and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory and customer requirements.
