About The Position

The NSI P1 Quality Technician plays a critical role in ensuring that products meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements within the manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for performing detailed inspections, testing, and documentation to verify product compliance and identify any deviations from quality specifications. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in quality assurance, manufacturing, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in a quality technician role within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Familiarity with quality inspection tools and measurement equipment.
  • Basic understanding of quality management systems and regulatory standards relevant to the industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures accurately.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification such as ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry such as aerospace, defense, or medical device manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with quality data management software and electronic documentation systems.
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of products and components to ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications.
  • Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records to support traceability and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify, report, and assist in investigating non-conformances or defects, working collaboratively with production and engineering teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in quality audits and support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and process efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality procedures throughout all inspection and testing activities.
