Applied Materials is the global leader in materials science and engineering solutions that are at the foundation of virtually every new semiconductor chip and advanced display in the world. The equipment that we create and service is essential to advancing AI and accelerating the commercialization of next-generation semiconductor chips. Join us and push the boundaries of materials science and engineering in a company at the foundation of the electronics industry. The work we do together advances the world’s technology. This position will be responsible for developing and validating manufacturing strategies, driving Design for Manufacturability (DFM/DFX) activities, establishing BOM structures, tooling and test readiness, supporting pilot and managed builds, and ensuring commercialization deliverables are completed prior to HVM handoff. The role is critical to closing the current gap between product development and production execution, reducing program risk, improving manufacturing readiness, and enabling predictable product launches. With multiple GRFO development programs progressing simultaneously, dedicated NPME resources are required to support manufacturing validation activities, cross-functional PDP execution, and structured transfer of fully industrialized products into operations. Approval of this position will strengthen the newly formed GRFO NPI team, improve NPI execution capacity, and accelerate delivery of new products while minimizing disruption to existing HVM operations.
