NPI (New Product Introduction) Planner

NPI (New Product Introduction) Planner coordinates and manages the planning, scheduling, and material readiness for new product launches, ensuring smooth transitions from development to manufacturing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science, Business, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to analyze supply chain data, forecast demand, and optimize material flow
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, capacity planning, and inventory management tools
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed product schedules, translating master production schedules into executable work orders and shop floor plans to support daily production and on-time product releases
- Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, production, and business teams to manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept through launch
- Track hardware requirements, manage procurement, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure inventory readiness to meet project timelines
- Identify potential supply chain or production risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively resolve issues to prevent delays
- Prepare and present reports on project status, risk assessments, and opportunities for process improvement, often using ERP/MRP systems for data management.
- Senior NPI Planners may mentor junior planners and provide strategic guidance to cross-functional teams.
