About The Position

ANELLO http://www.anellophotonics.com is a leading-edge technology company that has developed integrated photonic system-on-chip technology for next generation navigation devices. ANELLO's SIPHOG™ gyroscope is based on its patented photonic integrated circuit technology. Our devices are higher performance, much smaller in size, weight, and power at a fraction of the cost of traditional gyros used in industrial-grade, aerospace, and military applications. ANELLO products provide reliable, and precision navigation and positioning across all autonomous applications in GPS-Denied environments. We have a growing list of Defense customers developing unmanned aerial, marine, and land vehicles and increasing production significantly in the coming years from our product roadmap. As an Operations Program Manager (NPI) you will lead multiple hardware device programs through new product introduction (NPI) at lower volumes in our labs thru transition to our contract manufacturers as demand outgrows in-house capacity. The core deliverable of this role is to provide to a growing list of customers by driving in-house and factory execution and managing yields effectively. This role drives execution of product through PVT, managing programs through critical development phases before transitioning to CM for sustaining and oversight.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related.
  • 5-10 years in manufacturing operations or related technical field
  • 5+ years of program management experience leading complex hardware programs
  • Direct experience with contract manufacturer engagement
  • Track record of leading successful NPI programs from concept through mass production
  • Experience managing multiple programs with different lifecycle stages
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving resolution in matrix organizations
  • Due to contracts ANELLO works under affiliated with U.S. government, applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. (U.S. Citizens or Perm Residents)

Responsibilities

  • Own manufacturing readiness and operations milestones across all development phases (EVT–PVT) through CM transition
  • Drive factory execution, yield performance, and channel fill readiness to meet launch targets
  • Lead cost optimization, budget oversight (with Finance), and risk mitigation strategies
  • Ensure material and BOM readiness (CTB, risk-buys, engineering change alignment) in partnership with Materials Program Management
  • Manage multiple concurrent hardware programs from NPI through sustaining transfer
  • Establish and qualify production lines through EVT, DVT, and PVT
  • Lead build readiness reviews and phase-gate execution
  • Partner with MTE, NPI Engineering, and Factory teams on test strategy, process qualification, layout, and equipment validation
  • Drive production scalability, yield improvement, and operational efficiency
  • Lead cross-functional issue resolution throughout the NPI lifecycle
  • Lead operations core team and NPI program reviews
  • Align Manufacturing, R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Packaging, Accessories, and Marketing to program objectives
  • Own CM engagement and factory relationships
  • Resolve technical and operational blockers to ensure successful product launch and transfer
