Requirements

BS/BA degree (engineering, business, finance or related discipline)
4+ year industry experience, Project Management and/or New Product Introduction
Working knowledge of procurement, finance, and new product development processes
Impeccable organizational, multi-tasking, and management skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed

Nice To Haves

Strong technical background in fixtures and tooling.
Experience in working with Contract manufacture partners
Detailed knowledge of product development cycles & strong understanding of manufacturing processes
Experienced in setting up project schedules and work breakdown structures
Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience
Highly disciplined in workflow, process, and staying organized on priority tasks
Superior attention to detail with a strong commitment to rigor and excellence.
Ability to manage complex build planning through complex schedules
Self motivated and proactive with creative and critical thinking capabilities.
Understands and deals well with rapid development cycles and constant change; remains flexible and calm in the face of uncertainty.

Responsibilities

Coordinating equipment requirements between Engineering and contract manufacturers in Asia to support engineering prototype builds and development through the entire product life-cycle (up to hand-off to mass production).
Coordinating with cross functional partners, to ensure program equipment needs are met.
Identifying risks, exploring solutions, reaching consensus and executing mitigations quickly.
Responding quickly to changes to the overall goals, schedule, and/or architecture.
Creating an overall project budget and tracking expenditures in a dynamic and ever changing design and schedule atmosphere to make sure the team stays within that budget.
Drive cross-functional teams towards consensus of requirements
Manage and drive in-region resources at contract manufactures (typical in Asia) to drive procurement activities on Apple’s behalf
Build overall project budget, compile budget requests, and generate capitalization plan based on project schedules
Calculate ROI of change in process/equipment requested by OEM or internal teams
Provide monthly/quarterly budget updates and capitalization plan
Succinctly communicate overall equipment status to the management team
Work with new product teams to support product launch and sustaining activities
Understand the impact of cycle time changes and be responsible for adjusting forecasts accordingly
Verify demands and lead the business team to ensure equipment is tracked to delivery
Work with appropriate business and procurement teams to ensure support from vendors regarding setup, installation, repairs and maintenance
Respond quickly to changes to the overall goals, schedule, and/or architecture
