About The Position

In this highly technical, fast paced, and challenging NPD Specialist position, you will support the Dallas College MHS Nursing Program as Faculty for Clinical Level 1 Medical Surgical Nursing Clinical and Skills Course and Level 3 Mental Health clinical.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in nursing required
  • Bachelor's Degree of Nursing required
  • Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certification
  • NPD Certification or Certified Nurse Educator within two years of start date
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical nursing practice and application of adult education theory in a hospital and/or School of Nursing

Nice To Haves

  • Clinical certification preferred
