This role is for an NPD Quality Specialist, dedicated to the Kitchen Ventilation product line, with a primary focus on delivering innovative new products within a cohesive, high-performing, and accountable team environment. This position offers the opportunity to be the voice of quality on multiple product development projects, bringing innovative solutions to life through various phases of product life cycles, from concept to production. The culture empowers employees to be entrepreneurial with a bias for action and trust. This is a hybrid role that requires commuting to North American Manufacturing sites.

Requirements

  • Experience with Advanced product quality planning methodology (APQP).
  • Technical degree with 3 to 5+ years of prior relevant industry experience (consumer product development).
  • Knowledge and experience in systems such as Power BI and AGILE.
  • Familiarity with ISO-9001-2015.
  • 10% Travel, including International.
  • French/English (Mandatory) to collaborate with the American team.

Responsibilities

  • Apply technical knowledge, Production Parts Approval Process (PPAPs), statistical principles, structured problem-solving methodologies, and principles to make product robust/reliable.
  • Participate and validate in FMEA and lessons learned to create robust designs.
  • Own and analyze quality data and make recommendations to adjust product design for FMEA (Cost of poor quality - COPQ).
  • Immerse in NPD process and philosophies throughout the entire development project from conception through product launch.
  • Lead and execute quality improvements opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify challenges, align on priorities, and drive effective, data-based solutions to support project objectives.
  • Support conflict resolution, raise concerns, facilitate corrective actions and non-conformance disposition.
