About The Position

We are seeking a Project Manager that will be responsible for leading New Product Development (NPD) projects from conception through completion. This includes planning & estimation, budgeting, managing requirements, project execution, risk management, and ensuring projects meet technical, financial, and schedule objectives. The Project Manager serves as the primary liaison between cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and high-quality delivery of engineering solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field
3+ years of experience in program or project management within an R&D or engineering environment.
Proven experience managing projects with cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of the R&D lifecycle, from concept to commercialization.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project).

Nice To Haves

PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
Experience in the fluid Handling industry is a plus: paint, powder, electrostatics, and/or sealants & adhesives

Responsibilities

Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to deliver new products to the market based on the Binks product roadmap for each business unit
Define project scope, deliverables, and milestones in collaboration with technical leads and stakeholders, including Product Managers.
Manage multiple R&D projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget, following the Binks R&D stage gate process to deliver high quality, differentiated solutions to the market.
Facilitate project meetings, track progress, and identify and mitigate risks or bottlenecks.
Ensure resource allocation aligns with project needs and departmental priorities.
Provide regular project updates, status reports, and presentations to stakeholders.
Foster collaboration across departments within each interdisciplinary project team.
Monitor project costs and ensure financial accountability.
Identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential risks to project success.
Support continuous improvement by analyzing project outcomes and lessons learned.
Ensure projects adhere to Binks global engineering standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Coordinate regulatory processes, documentation, and approvals for products sold into regulated markets.
