About The Position

Atrium Health invites Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to join their Infusion Centers. This part-time float position serves three South Charlotte infusion centers in Charlotte and Pineville, North Carolina. The role operates within an outpatient setting, delivering infusion and injectable treatments to patients with chronic diseases. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) leads the team, supported by dedicated nurses, to ensure comprehensive and collaborative patient care.

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the sight assigned to for the day
Work 10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday with the opportunity to volunteer for additional Saturday hours
Handle triage and infusion reactions
Communicate with ordering providers
Assist RNs at other sites virtually
Participate in care design and workflow improvements
Assist with Therapy Plan orders and updates
Support authorization processes using clinical expertise
Leverage system-level resources and virtual tech
