This position involves functioning in a collaborative practice with physician(s) in a private office setting, primarily caring for medically complex patients. The role requires autonomously performing patient assessment, diagnosis, and intervention according to approved protocols. The NP/PA will support physicians in patient development and maintenance, collaborate with various specialties to ensure continuity of care, and provide office coverage during physician absences. Responsibilities also include prescribing a variety of modalities for wellness and illness needs, including hospital admission/discharge and prescriptive authority, and supervising private office clinical personnel as needed.
