The Advanced Practice Provider functions in collaborative practice with emergency medicine physicians in a high volume emergency department. This role autonomously performs patient assessment, diagnosis, and interventions according to approved protocols and scope of practice, and prescribes a variety of modalities to meet wellness and illness needs, up to and including hospital admission.
