About The Position

Corewell Health’s Center for Integrative Medicine provides compassionate care for patients impacted by substance use and alcohol disorders. Through our team of integrated clinicians, we provide empathy, support, treatment and understanding for patients. The practice has an opening for a flexible, caring, and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) with specific experience practicing in addiction medicine. This is a part-time, benefit-eligible position with a two-day work week, consisting of 10-hour days. The role involves outpatient practice with light call, telemedicine satellite clinic coverage, and a collaborative, supportive multidisciplinary team of physicians, APPs, and Social Work. Evaluations are 60 minutes and follow-ups are 30 minutes.

Requirements

  • Physician Assistant: Master's Degree Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program.
  • Physician Assistant: LIC-Physician Assistant - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required.
  • Physician Assistant: CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants Upon Hire required.
  • Physician Assistant: CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association or ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required.
  • Physician Assistant: CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required.
  • Physician Assistant: CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required.
  • Nurse Practitioner: Master’s, post-master’s or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (for those educated/certified after 2000).
  • Nurse Practitioner: 3 years of relevant experience current, relevant clinical experience.
  • Nurse Practitioner: Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Nurse Practitioner: LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - State of Michigan.
  • Nurse Practitioner: CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Nurse Practitioner: CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
  • Nurse Practitioner: CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS).
