About The Position

The NP Service Coordinator possesses dual roles in providing direct patient care and leading, coordinating, and developing new clinical programs. This role also supervises all aspects of and provides strategic direction for the programs overseen. Additionally, the coordinator develops and implements patient, staff, and physician education. Responsibilities include enrolling patients in various programs and increasing patient volumes. The role may supervise staff, including social workers, registered nurses, and behavioral counselors. It also involves supervising patient admissions to inpatient or outpatient venues, providing on-call services, and coordinating care. A key aspect of this position is coordinating services across multiple sites within the organization and the community. Clinical duties encompass direct patient care in the clinic setting, clinical direction and implementation of protocols, and on-call and rounding services in the inpatient setting.

Requirements

  • NP or PA certification
  • Oncology experience
